Storm damage & insurance

Five steps.
A clearer path forward.

From the first inspection to the final walkthrough, understand your roofing project and the insurance process.

  1. 01

    Inspection & documentation

We inspect the roof, photograph visible damage and explain repair or replacement options.

  2. 02

    File your claim

If you choose to pursue a claim, contact your insurer. We provide roof photos and a written estimate to help you document the condition.

  3. 03

    Adjuster meeting

At your request, we can meet the adjuster on site to identify observed roof damage and explain our construction estimate. Your insurer determines coverage.

  4. 04

    Planning & construction

Review the written scope, materials, deductible and any uncovered costs before authorizing work. We then coordinate scheduling, property protection and installation.

  5. 05

    Project completion

We review the completed work, clean up the property and provide the final invoice and applicable warranty documents. Ask your insurer about any remaining claim requirements.

Insurance payment is not guaranteed. Coverage, deductible and claim decisions depend on your policy and insurer. Main Renovation provides roofing inspection and construction services; we do not file or negotiate your insurance claim.

Homeowner questions

Know what to expect.

Do I need a repair or a full replacement?

The right scope depends on the roof condition, the extent of damage and the underlying materials. An inspection helps distinguish localized issues from a roof that needs replacement.

Can you help after a storm?

Yes. Main Renovation provides storm-damage inspections and documentation support. Coverage and claim decisions remain with your insurer.

How much will my roof cost?

Size, pitch, materials, access, decking condition and the complete system affect the price. Request an inspection for a project-specific estimate.

Which GAF warranty applies?

Warranty eligibility depends on your selected products, system and installation. Explore the GAF resources above and ask the team to confirm the written coverage for your project.
